The church dedicated to the Holy Trinity stands in Adzvi. In the Georgian tradition a Trinity dedication is marked by the word sameba, and such churches usually hold the principal place in a village.
Adzvi lies in Shida Kartli, in the foothills north of Gori, not far from the valleys of the Greater and Lesser Liakhvi. The Begiaant clan salotsavi in Medzhvriskhevi is marked about three kilometres away. The area is hilly, with country roads running between the villages.
A headscarf is useful for women, as it may be required at the entrance. The site remains part of the everyday life of the area, and that deserves respect.
Tips
- Allow no more than half an hour for the visit.

- There is no need to touch candles or icons.
Getting there
- Navigate by the coordinates, as there may be no signs on the approach.
- Ask locals for directions, since the short way is not always obvious.
