Ninotsminda Local Museum

In the center of the city of Ninotsminda, in the historical municipality, the Ninotsminda Museum of Local Lore is located, occupying a building at the address: st. Teryan, 3. This unique museum was founded in 1970 and since then has served its visitors as a historical repository. It is a non-profit legal entity subordinate to the Cultural Center of the Ninotsminda Municipality. His specialty is history, and the collection contains 3,482 preserved items. The collection covers the period of World War II, presenting photographs, documents, periodicals, and letters from soldiers. In addition, here you can find materials related to ethnography. Open to the public every day from 09:00 to 18:00. Admission is free for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with an ID card), as well as for people with disabilities upon presentation of a valid ID card, and refugees. As part of museum activities, various educational programs are held, including events dedicated to “Victory Day” and “International Museum Day” on May 18. An exhibition called “Vardan Garsliani Exhibition” is also available to visitors.
