The village of Andriatsminda bears the name of its saint: in Georgian it means exactly that, Saint Andrew. The village church is dedicated to St. Andrew the First-Called, the apostle whom Georgian tradition links with the beginning of Christian preaching in these lands.
The village stands in the foothills below Akhaltsikhe, about eight kilometres from the town. The area is thick with churches: two and a half kilometres away, by Muskhi village, stands the Akhdila church, and a little further begin the villages of the Akhaltsikhe valley.
The church can be approached at any time; follow the coordinates. In the working church keep quiet and dress modestly.
