The ruins of an Armenian church lie in Didi Khanchali village in Ninotsminda Municipality. The hall building is laid of tuff blocks, the entrance is on the west side, and the facades are dressed with door and window surrounds.
Fragments of an Armenian inscription are set into the door surround, and a relief slab is placed above the door whose image has worn away and can no longer be read. The apse is semicircular with rectangular niches on either side that took the place of the side chambers, and a baptistery is made in the north wall.
The interior was plastered and the wooden roof rested on columns with wooden capitals. The church is no longer in use: the roof has decayed, the facades have parted at different levels, and the inside is overgrown. Sources assign the building to the 19th century.
