Of the Ghedsheri church by Paledi village only ruins remain. The shrine carries the Svan name Taringzel; the same name belongs to the Labskaldi church of the Archangel, so it is not unique in Svaneti.
Paledi lies twenty one kilometres from Mestia, on the upper Enguri. A kilometre and a half away stands the Kaishi church of the Archangel, and a little over three kilometres the church of St. John the Baptist in Tsaleri and the Tavrari church of the Saviour.
Treat the ruins with care: do not take the masonry apart and leave no traces. The site can be visited at any time; follow the coordinates.
