The church of St Marine stands in Odzisi village. In Georgia the saint is called Marine, and her feast day, Marineoba, is widely kept in the villages.
The nearest neighbouring shrine, the Marian church of Bakakurebi, stands about a kilometre and a half away. Beyond it begins the Lamiskana side with its church of St George and the Ivlita chapel, and in the other direction, across the hills, lies Kvitkiristskaro with its church and the Petre tower.
The church is rural and its gates are opened by arrangement, and the village will point you to the right person. The rules are the usual ones: covered shoulders and knees, a headscarf for women, quiet. On the feast day it is crowded here, so come early.
