This small chapel in the mountains of Tianeti Municipality is called Kvara, after the name of the place.
The site lies northeast of Tianeti, among the wooded ridges of the upper Iori. There are no houses nearby, and the track is gravel and hard going in bad weather.
There are no regular services here and you can come at any time. Modest dress and quiet are appropriate, and offerings are left where they are.
