Only ruins are left of the church in Tsknari Abano. The place has two names, Tsknari Abano and Tskhnari, and both are still in use, so either may be heard in conversation.
The spot lies north-west of Bolnisi, in the hilly part of the municipality. The name Tsknari Abano itself translates as quiet bath and points to a spring: in Kvemo Kartli such names usually mean that warm waters once rose nearby.
No services are held here and people come freely. A tip for the road: the place has two names, and it is better to ask local people using both, or you may circle for a long while.
