A family church of the Mother of God in Tsintskaro, known as Mamukaant Sakdari. A sakdari is a village church, and the first word points to the family it belonged to: such family churches were raised in Georgia on one's own land and kept by one's own means.
Tsintskaro lies east of Tetritskaro and holds three shrines. The church of Saint Nicholas and the chapel of the Mother of God stand together about two kilometres away, while this church stands apart.
Family churches are usually small and kept closed, so count on seeing this one from outside. The rules are the same as everywhere: covered shoulders and knees, quiet, and respect for the private character of the place.
