Museum of Qvevri and Qvevri Wine

The Museum of Qvevri and Qvevri Wine is located in the village of Napareuli, Telavi Municipality and was founded in 2014 as a private historical museum. Here is a collection of the Gemini winery for 15 years, as well as archival photographs and information about various varieties of Georgian grapes, jugs and wine cellars.

One of the key parts of the exhibition are three 500-liter jugs, cut into thirds, covered with glass, allowing visitors to see the entire wine production process: from pressing to filtration and bottling.

Open daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

Ticket prices: for schoolchildren – 5 GEL, students – 15 GEL, adults – 30 GEL. However, free entry is provided to children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members, people with disabilities and refugees with an ID card.

The museum offers various educational programs, including participation in the harvest, tasting of wine and chacha, the processes of growing churchkhela, preparing bread in a bakery, as well as the ability to turn khinkali and much more.
