The church of Saint George in Kveda Zegani in Baghdati Municipality has come down to us almost entirely lost: only the floor of the large hall survives. The whole building can still be read from it.
The plan was rectangular, with a semicircular apse extending to the east. A massive altar stone stands in the centre of the apse, a two stepped solea can be made out before the altar, and traces of entrances are visible in all three walls, with two steps preserved at the north door. The floor is paved with hewn stone squares.
Local people say a wooden church once stood here and was destroyed during the antireligious campaigns. Sources assign the site to the late Middle Ages and lists it as a cultural heritage monument.
