A parish church of Kvirike and Ivlita, the Georgian forms of Cyricus and Julitta, a mother and her three-year-old son who suffered at the start of the fourth century. Georgia venerates them very widely, and the feast of Kvirikoba remains one of the liveliest popular celebrations.
This is another church with that dedication in this list after Zarati and Sairme, and three churches out of a hundred and fifty objects confirm how widespread the veneration is. Tsiaghubani lies in western Imereti, on the lowland belt closer to Samtredia. The century of building is not established.
The parish is rural and services follow the church year. Dress modestly, women wear a headscarf. If the doors are locked, ask about the time in the village.
