The museum, located in the Ozurgeti Municipality in the village of Likhauri, was founded in 2010 and is a non-entrepreneurial (non-profit) legal entity that is part of the Union of Museums of the Ozurgeti Municipality. This memorial museum is a significant point of interest, collecting a variety of artifacts and historical items.


The museum exhibits contain valuable memorial items, books, icons and photographs. Visitors are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the historical heritage and cultural riches represented in the collection.
The museum is open to the public every day, except Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00. It is important to note that admission to the museum is absolutely free. Free access is provided to children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with an ID card), as well as people with disabilities (with a valid ID card) and refugees.
