Artificial waterfall in the village of Kapnistavi is a small but picturesque landmark of Adjara, located in the Khelvachauri municipality. The waterfall is man-made, but fits perfectly into the natural landscape and is surrounded by greenery.
The water falls from a narrow rock crevice into a small pool, from where it flows down neat concrete steps. Nearby are wooden railings and bridges leading to other natural locations. The place is well-kept and suitable for a short stop or a picnic in the fresh air.
The artificial waterfall is located next to the route to Koshkin Waterfall, so it is convenient to visit it as part of one walk. This location is especially pleasant in spring and summer, when the greenery is at its most saturated.
