Along its 1000-1200 meters in length and perhaps 120-150 meters in width, the lake captivates with its beauty and mystery. Its depth in the middle reaches 4-6 meters, and the bottom is strewn with soft sand, creating ideal conditions for the life of various species of fish: carp, grass carp, crucian carp, shemai, mullet and even sturgeon.

This magical lake was created by man in accordance with Olympic standards and has become not only a wonderful place for relaxation, but also a real paradise for sports events. Water skiing training and competitions are regularly held here, attracting the attention of sports enthusiasts from all over the world.

Golden Lake also has a rich history of sporting events. In 1991, the European Rowing Championships took place here, where the skills of the athletes competed in an epic struggle for the title of the best. The lake was divided into two parts by a special net to provide the most comfortable conditions for the competition.
