Street Life and Festivals
This gallery is about the city people live in, not only the one they come to see. Buskers play in the evening on Erekle II Street and by the love lock railing in Leghvtakhevi, a street painter works at his easel beside views of old balconies, a man carries fresh bread home and a courier rides his scooter downhill. You will also find the metro with Liberty Square station, blue city buses, a yellow minibus, a red double decker tour bus and a traffic jam below a footbridge. Festivals include the Tbilisoba street feast, a wine festival by the Old Town, the Fabrika courtyard and a historical reenactment festival in Rike Park with chidaoba wrestling, khridoli and sword duels.
