Young men from Georgia won the Title of European Rugby Champions for the fifth time in a row
The Georgian youth rugby team demonstrated impressive skills and won the final of the European Under-18 Championship. During the tournament, which took place from November 10 to 18 in Prague, Georgian rugby players confidently made their way to the fifth consecutive victory at the continental championship.
In the decisive match, the Georgian national team met with the Portuguese team. The first half of the game ended with a score of 14:0 in favor of the Georgian athletes, who managed to score two tries before the break.
In the second half, the Georgian rugby players retained the advantage, despite the active attacks of the opponents. The Portuguese national team reduced the difference in the score by taking one penalty, but the strength and experience of the Georgian team proved insurmountable. Finishing the match with another successful throw, the young men from Georgia won the fifth title of European champions, strengthening their leadership in youth rugby on the continent.
