"Produce in Georgia" programs contribute to the creation of 60,000 new jobs

The programs of the agency "Produce in Georgia" have demonstrated their effectiveness, creating more than 60 thousand new jobs. Over ten years, about 11 thousand projects have been funded, and the total amount of grants amounted to 91 million lari.

The agency's report showed that most beneficiaries of the programs would not have been able to achieve such results without the agency's support. The programs encourage entrepreneurs to make important decisions about the expansion and development of their business.

The programs include subsidizing interest on loans, providing financing and providing microgrants. Thanks to these programs, support was provided to small and medium-sized enterprises, and the amount of loans amounted to GEL 1.7 billion.

The export promotion program has also had a positive impact on the Georgian business sector. Companies had the opportunity to present their products at international events and exhibitions, and the number of registered companies on the portal TRADEWITHGEORGIA.COM approaching 800.

The government program "Produce in Georgia" was launched in 2014 and since then has played a significant role in the development of local production and job creation in the country. These programs continue to support entrepreneurs and contribute to Georgia's economic growth.
