Christmas and Epiphany are ancient traditions of the Armenian Apostolic Church that have been preserved to this day. These two great events are celebrated on January 6th and are accompanied by a lot of important rituals.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President Salome Zurabishvili sent warm congratulations to the Armenian Apostolic Church and compatriots of Armenian descent. In their congratulatory messages, they expressed wishes for peace and prosperity.

The writer, Irakli Garibashvili, said the following: "I congratulate our Armenian compatriots and the entire Armenian people on Christmas and Epiphany. May this majestic day bring joy and happiness to all who celebrate it with sincerity and devotion. I wish you all peace and prosperity."

The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, also expressed her sincere congratulations to the parishioners of the Armenian Church, which is part of the Apostolic faith. She wrote: "I cordially congratulate the Armenian Apostolic Church and its parishioners who live in all corners of the world, especially in our country, Georgia. I wish you joy and blessings on this holiday of Christmas and Epiphany."

In addition to congratulations, it is worth noting that the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the original date of Christmas on January 6. On this day, the epiphany of the Lord is also celebrated, which is called Epiphany.

A special place in the celebration of Christmas is occupied by the holy liturgy "Chrakaluis", or "Lighting of lamps (lamps)". This is a prayer service that takes place in Armenian churches around the world on the evening of January 5th. Its name comes from the Aramaic word "chrakalu", which means "lamps" or "lamps". "Chrakaluis" symbolizes the light of the star, which showed the wise men the way to the Christ child.

Thus, on this day, the heads of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili and Salome Zurabishvili, join the festive traditions of the Armenian Apostolic Church, expressing their best wishes to the faithful Armenians. They hope that this significant day will bring peace and prosperity to all parishioners.
