Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Tengiz Nasaridze, stressed: "We have already taken legislative measures in the field of aquaculture and created a regulatory framework that contributes to the effective development of this area. We have both freshwater and marine resources at our disposal for the development of aquaculture."
In turn, the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara, Zaza Shavadze, stressed the importance of active communication between government agencies and industry representatives. This will help to better understand the needs of the aquaculture sector, identify its potential and overcome emerging challenges.
