The road to Tetnuldi just got easier
The Main Caucasus Ridge divides Georgia and Russia. The summits of the Bezenghi Wall are shared by Georgian and Russian climbers.
Mount Tetnuldi, a classic beauty, belongs only to Georgia. Before the construction of the ski resort, climbers had to walk to the mountain for three days through passes and glaciers.
The construction of a cable car shortened the time of approach under the mountain and lightened the backpacks of climbers. Climbing Tetnuldi is not only a sport.
On the way to the mountain and back you can't miss the Svan villages of Adishi or Zhabeshi. Staying with hospitable Svans, having a delicious meal and interesting conversation is a part of the expedition.
Upper Svaneti is authentic settlements with ancestral towers, ancient culture with strong traditions and snow-white Tetnuldi - the "Svan bride".
