Vacation in Georgia with PCR test and without vaccine
In March 2020, many countries were forced to impose restrictions due to the pandemic. International travel was reduced.
In some countries, it stopped altogether, such as Georgia, which canceled all air travel between countries in mid-March until February 2021. The lifting of restrictions is supported by compliance with certain rules.
In order to enter the territory of Georgia it is necessary to undergo a two-stage course of vaccination against COVID-19 and present a document confirming this fact. There is no need to undergo quarantine in this case.
From June 1, land borders will also be open, which can be crossed with a vaccination course or with a negative PCR test, which must be done not later than 72 hours before arrival. PCR analysis is used in medicine as one of the reliable methods of diagnosing infectious diseases.
The effectiveness of this test is absolute. If you are a resident of such countries as Israel, UAE, Saudi Arabia, as well as EU countries and the nearest neighboring countries, you are allowed to visit Georgia by taking only one PCR test. The list of countries with this privilege is being supplemented regularly and new countries may soon be added to it.
