Coronavirus vacation: masks, distance and PCR tests in a suitcase

Departmental authorities made the difficult decision to officially open the holiday season despite the spread of coronavirus infection. Every day about a thousand new COVID-19 cases are registered.

Until the epidemiological situation in the country is not stabilized, the cancellation of the current restrictions is completely impossible. However, the authorities have made some significant amendments.

At the moment, the order on the mandatory wearing of masks in the open air has been canceled. From the beginning of July it is planned to cancel the "curfew", which has been in force on the territory of Georgia for more than a year.

The government of the country is actively trying to establish the tourism sector, and consequently the local economy. The pandemic has hit hard the most important component of the national budget.
