Green Palace Kutaisi — Hotel

Ein gemütliches kleines Hotel, das Zentrum ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind modern und sehr sauber, das Essen war in Ordnung.

A pleasant hotel with helpful service and free parking. The breakfast isn't great, but it's decent for the price.

Our experience was very disappointing.

The worst part was the state of the room. We checked in at night and didn’t see the issues right away because it was dark and the walls were mostly covered with long curtains. However, during the day, we found significant mold on several walls, which was shocking.

The service was also frustrating. We had to keep asking for toilet paper because our room wasn't restocked properly after cleaning. Initially, we were told there was none available, and only after multiple requests did we get more rolls. In the end, we bought our own.

There was no iron or ironing service available; the hotel only offered ironing if you paid for full laundry or dry-cleaning.

Breakfast was disappointing. The food looked great in the promotional pictures, but the reality was poor quality and didn’t match the advertisement.

To make matters worse, there was a major renovation happening right above our room. We were never informed about it before or during check-in. The noise was extremely loud and made it hard to relax or even talk. After we complained, the noise level went down a bit, but it was still disruptive. We also lost electricity in our room during the renovation.

There were more maintenance problems, like a leak by the bathroom sink and a shower curtain that kept falling down.

The room felt overly damp throughout our stay. Many of our clothes stayed wet, even after being left in the room for a long time.

After noticing the mold, I reported it through reception, WhatsApp, and Booking.com, but over a week passed without any meaningful response. My partner also got seriously ill during or right after our stay and needed a 14-day course of antibiotics when we got home.

At checkout, our experience summed up the poor service. At 4 a.m., while our taxi was waiting, we were asked to stay at reception while the staff manually checked our room and went through minibar charges one by one because they couldn’t provide the total later by email. We ended up losing 20 minutes being questioned about what we had eaten over the past six days.

With the extensive mold, unannounced renovations, maintenance issues, poor service, and lack of response to complaints, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are much better options available nearby for similar or lower prices.

Now, after leaving my review on Booking, they are threatening me with lawyers and monitoring… it's insane.

A very pleasant and tidy hotel with cozy, modern rooms featuring comfortable beds. It's really close to the center of Kutaisi, but the return can be a bit of a hike. The staff is quite helpful. Breakfast wasn't exactly to my liking, but at least there were local cheeses and vegetables. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It feels like a green oasis in the bustling city. There's also a nice local shop nearby. 💚

A great choice just outside the city center, but still within walking distance of the main attractions. I needed a place to park my car and explore on foot, and this was perfect. The furniture is modern, and the breakfast is good. They provide all the essentials, including toothpaste and ear sticks. Just a heads up, the stairs and the hill can be a bit challenging at night, especially after a meal.

Останавливались здесь с семьёй два раза. Отель новый, номера чистые, персонал очень дружелюбный, а завтрак вкусный. Рекомендую!
