Zurab Javakhadze Kutaisi Sports Museum

Kutaisi Sports Museum of Zurab Javakhadze, located at st. Columbia Missouri, 3, Kutaisi, is a historical storehouse founded in 1970. It is a non-entrepreneurial (non-profit) legal entity of the Kutaisi Union of Artistic and Educational Institutions.
The museum is proud of its collection, which includes 1634 items, including medals, cups, prizes, as well as photographs of Georgian Olympic champions, world and European champions. In addition, the museum contains rich and varied collections such as audio-video recordings, photographic negatives, films of athletes, personal archives of famous personalities in the field of sports and many other interesting exhibits.
Museum visiting hours are daily, except Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00. It is important to note that admission is free, which makes the visit accessible to everyone.
The museum regularly holds exhibitions, such as “Athletes’ Awards in the Museum Fund”, “Georgian Football Players in Foreign Countries”, “Georgian Olympians”, as well as thematic exhibitions dedicated to the anniversary of Georgian athletes.
