What to see in Batumi in 3-5 days?
A day-by-day plan: the city, Botanical Garden, Gonio and mountain Adjara.
Short answer
In 3 days in Batumi you can cover the boulevard, the Old Town and Piazza, the Ali and Nino sculpture and the Alphabet Tower, the Argo cable car, the Botanical Garden at Green Cape and Gonio fortress with a trip to Sarpi. With 4-5 days, add mountain Adjara with Makhuntseti waterfall and Queen Tamar's bridge, Machakhela, or a trip to Kobuleti and Shekvetili. In summer, leave time for the beach.
Why
- The Botanical Garden is large; allow half a day.
- Gonio and Sarpi are on the same road south and easy to combine.
- In the evening the boulevard has singing fountains and illuminations.
Details
On a rainy day, switch to museums, the dolphinarium and the aquarium. Mountain Adjara is easier by car or on a tour.
