Tbilisi Central station to be renovated for about GEL 7 million
In a statement published by BPN on 27 October 2026, Georgian Railway announced the start of renovation at Tbilisi Central station. Platforms 1, 2 and 3 are to be updated and 4 new escalators installed.
The total cost of the renovation is about GEL 7 million. Completion is planned for autumn 2027.
