Pantishara — Datvis Khevi: Jeep Tour in Vashlovani Park

Gradually, the gorge widens, and gorgeous views of Alesilebi, pointed rocks open up. The landscapes are so beautiful that you will want to urgently arrange a photo shoot. Travelers note that these are the most beautiful places in Georgia. In the gorge you can watch the flights of birds of prey.

Bear Gorge is a canyon, quite narrow. At the beginning of the gorge there is a parking lot and a picnic area. From here you can take a short hike into the narrow part of the gorge. There, on the slopes of the ravine, traces of the existence of an ancient sea are visible – fossilized marine mollusks.

The remains of a prehistoric cave bear were also found here, which is why the canyon is called bear canyon. The largest bone is 87 cm in size, which indicates how huge the animals that lived in these places millions of years ago were. The finds are kept in the museum of the park, and in the gorge there is a dummy.

There are also traces of real bears, lynx, wolf, wild boar. After all, the park is home to 80 species of birds, 17 – mammals, 18 – amphibians and reptiles.
