Если пахлава — ваша цель, THE BAKLAVA HOUSE точно стоит в маршруте: тут обсуждают именно турецкие сладости, кофе и чай, и в свежих отзывах часто звучит “вкусно, уютно”, хотя есть и ремарки про цену и внимательность к выбору витрины.
Я советую брать несколько видов поштучно (классика + что-то необычное) и не стесняться спрашивать, что сегодня самое свежее.

The desserts were overpriced and didn't taste good at all. I went there because it was well-known, but it really wasn't worth it. This was a major disappointment.

Kilosu 110 lari gibi pahalı olan baklavalardan bir tepsi almak istedim. Önce tadına bakmak istedim ama oradaki somurtkan Türk kadın bunun tanesinin 6 lari olduğunu söyledi. Önemli olmadığını, bir tepsi alacağımı ve beğenmezsem 6 lari ödeyeceğimi söyledim. Sonrasında 254 lari tutan bir tepsi baklava ve bir de denediğim için 260 lari diye utanmadan parasını aldılar. Kilo işi, tanesi 6 lari etmezdi bile. Türkiye'de bir baklava dükkanına girseniz, daha siz içeri girmeden bir tane ikram ederler. Türkiye'yi böyle temsil ediyorlar işte...
