The monument, located in the center of Batumi, is dedicated to Enver Khabadze, an outstanding choreographer and dancer who made an enormous contribution to the development of Georgian national dance. As the founder and long-time director of the State Academic Ensemble "Batumi", he created numerous famous choreographic pieces that remain in the ensemble's repertoire today. Its location next to the Batumi Summer Theater makes this monument a great starting point for discovering the rich cultural heritage of Adjara.
