Having sought medical help due to abdominal pain, I was offered ambulance services for 300 GEL, which included all the necessary tests and ultrasound. Based on the test results, a suspicion of appendicitis arose, but to confirm the diagnosis and prevent unnecessary surgical interventions, it was decided to conduct a CT scan for an additional 300 GEL. It is noticeable that in case of subsequent surgery, the cost of CT scan is deducted from the total amount.

Having agreed to the proposed procedures, I underwent a CT scan, which confirmed the presence of gangrenous appendicitis, requiring urgent surgery. Within an hour after the diagnosis was confirmed, I was on the operating table.

I was in the hospital for four days after the operation. However, a drawback was identified - the absence of nurse call buttons at the beds, which created difficulties for patients after surgery who were unable to move independently. Despite the calls to shout in case of need associated with long corridors, this disadvantage became noticeable.

The need for surgery brought me to the hospital for the first time, and despite the initial fears and hysterics, I was supported and reassured. After discharge, she continued to visit the medical center for examinations and dressings.

The total cost of the operation was 2300 GEL, and I was satisfied with the service. Surprisingly, I didn’t encounter long queues. The surgeon was always responsive to questions and complaints, which further strengthened my confidence.
