Churchkhela and Georgian sweets store "Badagi" in the shopping center "AgroHub Batumi"

If you're looking to have your mood ruined, this is the place to go. The staff seems to be in a competition to be as rude, dismissive, and disrespectful as possible. Sure, you'll get your churchkhela or wine, but you'll walk out feeling bitter and determined never to return. This was my second visit because a friend wanted me to get a gift, and the staff's attitude was even worse this time. It's like stepping into a space where rudeness is concentrated. The staff chats and laughs among themselves while you stand there trying to ask for something. When they finally acknowledge you, it's with a lazy "what?"—and that's if you speak native Georgian. For foreigners, it's even worse.

У меня дважды не получилось купить здесь вино. Такого в Грузии со мной ещё не случалось.

Чурчхела по вкусу средненькая, ощущается некоторая искусственность. Не совсем удобно, что нужно идти к кассе супермаркета для оплаты, а не можно сделать это сразу на месте.

Сотрудники совершенно не заинтересованы в продаже своих товаров. Я спросил на грузинском, говорят ли они по-русски или по-английски, но они не ответили. Пробовал уточнить информацию о продукции через переводчик на телефоне, но они даже не пытались помочь. Никто не обязывает знать им другие языки, кроме родного, но если ваша работа — продавать продукт, разве не стоит приложить хоть немного усилий, чтобы выполнять свои обязанности? Кажется, не так уж сложно использовать смартфон с переводчиком.

Полное отсутствие обслуживания.

Общение на английском прошло без проблем. Чурчхела просто невероятная, стоит того, чтобы ехать за ней специально.

Вино здесь отменное, но чурчхела не оправдала ожиданий. Обслуживание радует своей быстротой.

Consistently ignored by staff on two separate visits. First time, I thought maybe it was because I’m not local, but witnessed the same treatment with French-speaking visitors. One staff member did engage and offer a tasting cup eventually, but the initial indifference was striking. Despite this, the wine is truly excellent!

Unfortunate encounter. Popped in for the first time; wasn't greeted warmly. Asking for help felt like pulling teeth. Amazing selection, though. Still, left with a bad taste. Not coming back.

Great wine, no doubt about it, and the price is unbeatable—almost half of what you’d pay in the mountains. They store it correctly too, so no worries there. The churchkhela selection is impressive, but a small disappointment hit me when I tasted a couple that seemed slightly stale. You can taste before buying, which is nice. However, the overall experience lacked a bit of charm and warmth, making it feel a tad too commercial. Decent place, just not exceptional.
