A café inside an old Batumi house with stone and brick walls. The cooking is Adjarian and Georgian, with local classics, food from the charcoal grill and big sharing combos.
Adjarian dishes include borano, sinori, Adjarian tolma (also in a vegetarian version), Adjarian khachapuri and Adjarian-style potatoes; for dessert there is Adjarian baklava and sweet sinori with walnuts. Clay pots bring pork, veal, chicken or mushroom ojakhuri, shkmeruli, ostri, yakhni, chakondrili, lobio and veal ribs with adjika and mint. From the charcoal grill come veal, pork and chicken skewers, Adjarian kebab, barbecue ribs, salmon steak and trout with vegetables.
Khinkali come in three kinds: kalakuri with herbs, khevsuruli without herbs, and beef. Breakfast plates are served with khachapuri, sausages or an omelette. The bar pours Georgian-style coffee and coffee brewed in hot sand, lemonades, cocktails, beer, chacha and Georgian wine.
Prices are mid-range, and a 10% service charge is added to the bill. Food can also be ordered for delivery.
