  • Description

Hidden among the bustle of the city of Batumi, Georgia, not far from school No. 13 on Mamiya Varshanidze Street, there is a real treasure of the city - a spring with drinking water. This small oasis, decorated with a modest cross and surrounded by stone walls, gives the coolness and freshness of life-giving water to everyone who is looking to quench their thirst.

Locals like to say that although tap water everywhere in Georgia is of high quality, the water from this particular source has a special taste and properties. The absence of scale on the dishes and a long shelf life without changing color or odor are the best proof of this. It is not surprising that there is sometimes a queue at the source - a sign of exceptional popularity and trust.

Despite the fact that you can sometimes find rubbish scattered around the spring, this does not detract from its value as a place of strength and purity. Local residents, fighting for the cleanliness and beauty of their city, urge every visitor to respect this source of life.

This spring is a great place for those who value naturalness and strive for a healthy lifestyle. Visit it to fill your bottles not only with water, but also with the history, care and culture of the Georgian people. And let a short wait in line be an excellent opportunity for conversations with local residents, who will reveal to you the little secrets of large and hospitable Georgia.
