A lovely spot to stay. The hotel is located right at the foot of the fortress, making it easy to walk up. It's also just a quick stroll across the bridge to the newer area of town. The room was clean and comfortable, with great air conditioning, and it was cool enough at night to keep the windows open. Sveta, the host, is incredibly kind and helpful. She assisted with laundry, offered us wine upon arrival, and was very accommodating to our needs. The room was a fantastic deal, and I highly recommend staying here.

Viajamos desde Barcelona con mi familia, mi esposo y nuestros dos hijos de 2 y 5 años, y la experiencia fue muy agradable. Fueron muy amables con los niños, la ubicación es perfecta, justo enfrente del castillo, y el desayuno que prepararon fue muy completo. ¡Gracias! 🥰

Номера очень простые. Мы остановились здесь с группой, и кажется, что на нас сэкономили 😅 В основном вопросы вызывает ванная: душ не отделён, только шторка. В итоге всё мокрое - унитаз, раковина. Стоишь в луже, чистишь зубы перед раковиной. Вытереть пол нечем, нет ни тряпки, ни полотенца для ног.

We had a reservation but had to cancel last minute due to circumstances beyond our control, even though we were past the deadline for free cancellation. We spoke with the manager and explained our situation. She was incredibly understanding and agreed to cancel our reservation without charging a fee. The location is amazing, right in front of the fortress. I would definitely stay here if we visit again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room was small but incredibly clean and cozy. Breakfast was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The best part is the location—directly opposite the fortress entrance and just a short stroll over the bridge to the newer part of town. The staff speaks English and were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for a short visit to Akhaltsikhe!
