The Trinity Church stands in Sakire, a village in the Borjomi Municipality, part of the Tadzrisi Municipality.
The village lies in the gorge of the Sakiruli River, a right tributary of the Dviruli, at an altitude of 1,280 meters. It is twenty-five kilometers from Borjomi, seven from Dviri, the nearest railway station, and just one from Tadzrisi. According to the 2014 census, Sakire had a population of 954. At the beginning of the 20th century, the majority of the village's population was Christian.
