Iberieli Wine Cellar

Zurab, the owner and winemaker, owns 12 hectares of vineyards and produces 3,000 liters of wine, which he exports to Japan, France and Italy.

Zurab pays the main attention to the Chkhaveri grape variety.

The name “Iberieli” was chosen by the children of the Zurab family. He points to the origin of ancient ethnic groups in the Caucasus, who have been engaged in winemaking for several thousand years.

The basement is located in a red brick building with a tiled roof, which consists of several parts: in the main part there are thirteen kvevri, a cellar, stainless steel tanks and a wine shop, and in the smaller half there are seven small kvevri.

The vineyard also grows 11 other grape varieties.
