MIT Hotel — Hotel

I wouldn't suggest staying anywhere else if you want to be in the historical center of Tbilisi. This hotel offers many modern amenities, including an elevator, carpeted floors, a minibar, and a comfortable bed, plus the rooms are quite spacious. The breakfast might not be the best I've had in Georgia, but you can enjoy delicious Georgian pastries, hearty soups, and walnut salads throughout the day. The staff is very professional and attentive. The entrance courtyard, which is tall and narrow, adds a touch of elegance.

I reserved a 'Superior Double Room' with two extra-large double beds, but when we entered, we found a small room with just one double bed. When we approached the reception, the staff member just laughed and claimed this was the room we had booked. The hotel was fully booked, so no other rooms with two beds were available. After showing my booking and insisting on speaking to the manager, she eventually agreed to call him. Ten minutes later, they suddenly had another room for us. However, it turned out to be a tiny twin room, not the superior double room we had requested. As soon as we entered, we were hit with a musty smell. The carpet near the sliding doors was soaked, and it seemed like water was leaking from the pool or roof, which wasn't surprising since they were dumping the entire contents of the pool onto the roof without any drainage. There was a few centimeters of water leaking into the communal area in front of the reception as well. Additionally, they played loud music at the pool, waking us up in the morning. The staff were unfriendly and often seen watching TikToks while lounging on the couch in the lobby. This hotel advertises itself as a five-star establishment, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

The hotel's location is excellent, with shopping, attractions, and other activities all within walking distance. You can also use Bolt to get around without dealing with traffic. The staff are friendly and genuinely try to assist you, which I really appreciated. They also organize fun parties and events.

Остались довольны своим пребыванием. Номера чистые, персонал вежливый, а атмосфера приятная. Особенно понравилась терраса — красивый вид, хорошая музыка и бар, где можно спокойно провести вечер. Рекомендую.
