The National Center of Tuberculosis and Pulmonary Diseases in Tbilisi is located on Georgi Maruashvili Street.
The current tuberculosis control system in Georgia is based on the international STOP TB strategy. The essence of the STOP TB strategy is to create a tuberculosis control system that will reduce the spread of lung disease and prevent the development of drug resistance.
Modern equipment is installed in the offices of the center. The center performs operations for pulmonary, mediastinal, bone, articular, abdominal and urogenital paratuberculous pathology.
