The church dedicated to Saint Nino stands south of Tbilisi, beyond the built-up area of the city. It is a single building, with open country around and no residential quarters.
The nearest marked site, the Ascension church in the village of Kumisi, is about four kilometres away. The area lies between the city and Lake Kumisi, at the transition to the Kvemo Kartli plain. Summers here are dry with almost no shade.
Photography inside is best agreed with whoever looks after the church. The site remains part of the everyday life of the area, and that deserves respect.

- Keep some cash for a donation, as there is no card terminal.
Getting there
- Leave the car at the nearest street and continue on foot.
- Navigate by the coordinates, as there may be no signs on the approach.
