The house museum is devoted to Revaz Inanishvili, a prose writer whose stories entered the school curriculum and are familiar to several generations of readers. The house keeps the setting, the writing place, the books, the manuscripts and the photographs. The collection is small, but for anyone who grew up on these texts the trip carries a meaning of its own.
The house stands in Khashmi, a village in the Sagarejo municipality, on the edge between the Kakhetian plain and the foothills. Around it are vineyards, fields and the road between Sagarejo and Telavi. The village is quiet and the tourist flow passes it by.
The house is small and half an hour is enough. The first half of the day is the easier time, and it is better to arrange the visit through the village in advance. Combine the trip with a wider Kakheti route.
