The House-Museum of Omar Kelaptrishvili in the village of Kavtiskhevi, Kaspi Municipality, is a non-profit institution created in 1993 under the Union of Museums of the Kaspi Municipality. This memorial museum is dedicated to the outstanding Georgian musician Omar Kelaptrishvili and has 1,187 exhibits. The museum's collection includes items and photographs related to the life and work of Omar Kelaptrishvili, as well as a rich musical fund, including audio, video, photo and documentary materials. Open to the public every day, except Monday and Tuesday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Ticket price: 0.50 GEL for schoolchildren and students, 1 GEL for adults, excursion costs 3 GEL. Admission is free for children under 6 years of age, museum staff, ICOM members, people with disabilities and refugees (on presentation of ID). The museum's exhibits include "The Great Musician" and "Georgian Musical Instruments." Educational programs such as “Georgian folklore”, “Folk instruments” and “Music lesson in the museum” are also available.
