The church of St. George stands at Zirti, near Natlismtsemeli village of Kaspi Municipality. Records list Zirti as a nasoplari, the site of a deserted village, and the church has outlived its parishioners.
The area lies far in the south of the municipality, in the hills above the southern valleys, away from the district centre. The nearest neighbours, the church at Kanobi and the Ikvi church, stand more than seven kilometres away.
Access is free at any time, the roads are unpaved and easier in dry weather. Modest clothing is appropriate, and the old walls deserve careful treatment.
