Terenti Graneli House Museum

The Terenti Graneli House-Museum is located at: st. T. Graneli, 15, Tsalenjikha municipality, Tsalenjikha city. This unique memorial museum was founded in 1987 and is under the jurisdiction of the Cultural Center of the Tsalenjikha City Council. The museum's collection includes 173 items representing everyday and ethnographic objects that belonged to the family of the famous Georgian poet Terentiy Granel (1897-1934). Among the exhibits are the poet's manuscripts, photographs, periodicals, as well as works by such famous personalities as Ir. Toidze and L. Gudiashvili. The museum is open to visitors every day, except Monday and Tuesday, from 10:00 to 17:00. Entry is free, making it accessible to a wide range of visitors. Free access is provided to children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with an ID card), as well as people with disabilities and refugees (with a valid ID card). The main exhibition of the museum is permanent, providing visitors with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history and culture of the Terentius Granel family. In addition, the museum offers educational programs, which include projects of the museum's Literary Salon. A booklet with detailed information about Terentia Graneli is also available for publication.
