The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The name of the village translates as the second Tola: in Racha and Lechkhumi a number in a name usually means that several hamlets share it and stand near one another down the valley.
Meore Tola lies nine kilometres from Khvanchkara and thirteen from Ambrolauri, on slopes away from the main valley. There are almost no neighbours nearby: the closest Racha shrine, the painted church of Bugeuli, stands more than six kilometres off. Down the valley begins the wine country of Khvanchkara.
The road here runs along the slopes and softens between seasons, so dry days are the better choice. The church is a village one, services are not held every day, yet it can always be approached. Dress modestly, keep quiet inside, leave offerings untouched. Summer on the slopes is cooler than in the valley.
