The Virgin Mary church in Bodavi is known as the Pudznari one. It is active, with doors open every day from morning until midday.
The site lies between Tianeti and Dusheti, in the hills above the Bazaleti basin. The road turns off the highway and climbs for the last few kilometres.
Visits are free and modest dress is appropriate for services. A headscarf is useful for women, and quiet is expected inside.
