The church of St George stands in the Nagvarevi locality by Sepe village, and it is known by both names.
Sepe lies in the Khada gorge, along which the old road to the Cross Pass runs. There are no neighbours close by: the nearest shrine of the district, the old Lomisa church of Kvemo Mleta, stands more than six kilometres away, and beyond it the Ganisi side begins.
The road here is a narrow mountain one and drifts over in winter, so it is better to come in the warm season and not at dusk. The church is rural and its gates are opened by arrangement. The rules are the usual ones: covered shoulders and knees, a headscarf for women, quiet.
