The house of Largvisi is known for the church of St Theodore Tyro, a soldier martyr whose name few Georgian churches carry. The name of the place itself comes in two spellings, Largvisi and Larvisi, and both are in use.
The village lies in the Ksani gorge, in Akhalgori Municipality. There are no shrines of this district close by: the neighbouring churches stand tens of kilometres away, already on the Dzegvi and Mtskheta side.
The municipality lies beyond the dividing line and there is no free passage there, so a trip should be planned only after checking the present situation. The place remains revered, yet reaching it is far from always possible at present.
