Samtredia Student-Youth Local Lore Museum

Samtredia Student and Youth Museum of Local Lore is located at st. Gegeshidze, 4, Samtredia. It was founded in 2015 and operates as a non-profit organization - the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Samtredia. This museum has a historical focus and houses more than two thousand items. Its collection includes ethnographic artifacts, a variety of copper and clay dishes, tools for viticulture and winemaking, musical instruments, crystal products and silk knitted items. Also here you can get acquainted with the ancient collection, including, in particular, “Tiger Skin” by Shota Rustaveli. The museum is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 and admission is absolutely free.
