If you are interested in history and culture, then the Khoni Historical Museum is a place worth visiting. Located at: st. David Guramishvili, 3, Khoni, this museum was founded in 1950 and is a non-entrepreneurial legal entity that is part of the Museum Union of the Khoni Municipality.

The museum is a fascinating journey into the past with more than 20 thousand objects in its collection. Here you will find archaeological finds such as Colchis tetris, axes, iron and bronze tools, and funerary artefacts.

The ethnographic collection of the 19th-20th centuries personifies the life of those times with a variety of household items.

The impressive collection of weapons includes engraved daggers, silver-plated rifles and more. In addition, the museum is rich in manuscripts from the 17th-19th centuries and early printed books. The museum is open daily except Mondays from 10:00 to 17:00. The ticket price is 1 GEL.

Admission is free for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (with ID), persons with disabilities (with valid ID) and refugees. In addition, the museum regularly holds thematic exhibitions three times a year, providing visitors with unique knowledge.

Educational programs such as "Forgotten Images" and "Inscriptions from the Temple of Khoni" add an interactive and educational character to your visit. We invite you to immerse yourself in the richness of history and culture at the Khoni Museum.
